I have been receiving a lot of requests for custom decals for customers who already have a car they want to customize.
I have decided to begin offering custom order decals to those who would like to make their own custom cars.
The cars that appear on my sight are available only as completed cars. I will not sell the decals separately unless otherwise noted. These cars are usually special orders and the agreement I have with the customers who ordered them, is to sell cars only, not decals alone.
The exception will be those cars which are mine alone and they will be noted that decals are available separately.
PRICING
There are two many variables to set a standard price. These include scale, whether the car is white or another color and the amount of graphics needed.
There will be two charges associated with the price.
There will be a one time art fee per decal set per scale and then the price for each decal set to be printed.
Most of my competitors charge $100 and up just for the art fee. This is charged to pay for the process of actually drawing the artwork needed to print the decal. My fee so far has been far less then that. I strive to keep my prices reasonable because being a retired LEO I know you guys and girls are not making a million dollars a year.
WHAT I WILL NEED FROM YOU
First: Before you contact me about making your custom decals take a minute and take a couple pictures of the real car you want the decals made of. Just some basic pictures showing all the graphics and the colors. These can be any pixel size you want. Then contact me atSCUBASKICOLLECTIBLES@YAHOO.COM and tell me what you are looking to get.
If we agree on a job then I will need the following.
The scale of the decals you want
The car make, model and year exp. 2002 Ford Crown Vic
The manufacturer of the car you are going to put the decals on. exp. Classic Metal Works, Welly, Motormax etc.
I will then need a series of pictures. 35mm are best but digital will work if you use a camera with a good resolution. We will go over what exactly I need when we agree on the job.
